Overview of Cities in Solano County

Some communities within Solano County have choosen not to organize into separate, formal cities. County government agencies provide most of the services for these cities. Elmira is a small community on the southeastern edge of Vacaville. Allendale is a rural community in the north area of Vacaville. Green Valley a residential area outside of Fairfield which includes a private golf course/country club. Collinsville, a rural delta hamlet at Solano County's southern border is planned as a future deep-water port some day.
